The house
has a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, which looks onto the
village square with ancient plane trees and 13th century fountain.
The spacious sitting room has a traditional provençal fireplace
and original wooden beams.
A small room off the sitting room serves as a library, as well as a
spare bedroom with a double bed.
|
Upstairs,
the master double bedroom overlooks the garden, with views over rooftops
to the Mont Ventoux (1909m). A second large double bedroom looks
over the village square, and up to the medieval church spire at the
top of the village. There is a quiet third single bedroom on the first
floor, and a shower room, with a bidet, w.c. and washbasin. There
is a separate utility room with a washing machine.
|
Downstairs,
doors lead from the sitting room to a south-facing terrace and walled
garden, with lavender, vines, rosemary, thyme and other provençal
herbs. The garden also has a table, chairs, parasol and a BBQ: it’s
the ideal setting for aperitifs and a game of boules before an evening
BBQ.
