L'Hirondelle

Mirabel-aux-Baronnies is situated 50 km east of the Rhone Valley, in the upper part of Provence, equidistant (8km) from the historic Vaison-la-Romaine to the south and Nyons to the north, a market town famous for its olives. The village is sited between the provençal landscape of olive groves and vineyards to the west, and the pre-Alps to the east, offering impressive hiking and mountain bike trails. In summer, there is choice of places to cool off: two waterparks, local rivers, and the spectacular gorge of the Vallée de Toulourenc.

The village offers an excellent local butcher and two bakers, a well-stocked village shop for groceries and local wines, newsagent, post office etc .. all within a few minutes’ walk. There are also two bars and a local restaurant. The village has tennis courts and table tennis tables for general use (bring your own racquets). Parking is on the square in front of the house.
